Runabout
Since 2009, Frederique Constant has been paying tribute to the legendary 1920s’ Runabout yachts. In 2013, the Brand started a partnership with the RHS (Riva Historical Society): a Milan-based association founded in 1988, dedicated to the preservation and restoration of classic Runabout boats that were designed by the passionate boating enthusiast, Mr Carlo Riva. Piero Mario Gibellini and Carlos Riva founded this non-profit organization, whose purpose is to preserve the worldwide patrimony of this established heritage.
Featuring the FC-303 mechanical automatic movement with a 38 hour power reserve, 26 jewels and running at 28,800 alt / h. The case size is 42mm with a thickness of 11.5mm and is made with polished stainless steel. The glass used is convex Sapphire crystal and also features a see-through Exhibition case back with the Riva historical society printed logo. Adding to the overall aesthetic of the see-through case back, the FC-303RMB5B6 watch has a water resistance rating of 50m or 5 ATM.
The dial on this stunning Limited Edition watch is Black with a clous de Paris guilloche in the centre of the dial. The hands of the Runabout Limited Edition model are a matching silver tone Stainless Steel and have a luminous treatment. The Strap is a matching black leather one with a contrast blue stitching matching the sweeping second hand of this watch.
