The TUDOR Royal

The TUDOR Royal

January 2021

With an integrated bracelet, notched bezel and automatic movement, the TUDOR Royal collection is the epitome of balance, elegance and versatility.

First coined by TUDOR in the 1950s, the name “Royal” is synonymous with the superior quality of its watches. Today, the range offers great technical performances and refined aesthetics. Overall, it’s as much a classic dress watch as it is a sports watch.

Either in stainless steel or two-tone (steel and yellow gold), the timepiece is available in four sizes and nine dials. That’s 28mm, 34mm, 38mm and 41mm cases, with sunburst, satin-finished dials and applied Roman numerals or diamonds. In other words, there are plenty of options to choose from – of which, we’re rather fond of the 41mm day-date versions.

The collection is built on a rich heritage of precision, waterproofness and automatic mechanical movements. It features both screw-down crown and case back, water-resistant to a depth of 100m (330 ft), as well as a self-winding calibre regulated to high chronometric standards.

Integrated Bracelet and Refined Dials

What’s interesting is its “five-link” integrated bracelet – designed to ensure an uninterrupted line with the case and comfort on the wrist. Characterised by alternating satin-brushed links and polished elements, it speaks to the manufacture’s superb attention to detail.

In black, silver, champagne or blue, its sunburst motif radiates from the centre of the dial to create texture based on various lighting conditions. For the ladies, its dial configurations extend to a mother-of-pearl variant that’s just gorgeous.
