Ultra-thin self-winding watch in rose gold. Black off-centre dial. Black alligator-skin strap. A mere 4.30 mm in thickness, this automatic watch for men is one of the thinnest in the world. Its secret lies in the unique design of the rose gold case, whose case back serves as the plate to which 219 components are affixed. This complex structure fuses movement to case. Depending on an inverted construction of the calibre, with its bridges mounted on the dial side, it gives a result that is both technically and aesthetically effective. The whole mechanism and hand system is contained within the height of the balance, with an off-centre hours and minutes display. Within this extremely limited space, Piaget has designed a suspended barrel, held in place solely by a single bridge on the dial side, and a peripheral 22K gold rotor coated with black PVD.

Monards is an authorised retailer of Piaget. Piaget timepieces are available for purchase at our 101 Collins Street and Crown Melbourne boutiques.
The unique allure of Piaget lies in the audacity of its style where craftsmanship meets excellence.
Piaget epitomizes daring creativity – a quality that has continued to permeate through the Maison since its beginnings in 1874. From his first workshop in La Côte-aux-Fées, Georges-Edouard Piaget devoted himself to crafting high-precision movements in a feat that formed the very foundations of our pioneering name. In the late 1950s, Piaget unveiled the ultra-thin movements that would later become the Maison’s trademark and the cornerstone of the Altiplano collection. As a true innovator of the watch and jewellery world, Piaget strongly believed in creativity and artistic values. It is within the walls of our “Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire” where master artisans continue to harness rare skills that have been preserved and perfected from generation to generation, transforming gold, stones and precious gems into dazzling works of art.
Ultra-thin self-winding mechanical movement
Peripheral 22K gold rotor coated with black PVD. Housed in one of the thinnest self-winding mechanical watches in the world, the 910P movement is the fruit of three years of development and a revolutionary design born with the 900P calibre. Fusing the movement to the external parts, this new masterstroke of finesse – a mere 4.30 mm thick – used the case as the plate to which the 219 components of the mechanism are affixed.
