Men’s steel chronograph watch. Blue dial. Blue alligator-skin strap. This men’s chronograph watch is the expression of relaxed elegance, perfect for any occasion. Crowned by a satin-finished and polished bezel, its 42 mm diameter steel case is water-resistant to 10 ATM and combines round and cushion shapes in the pure aesthetic tradition of Piaget. The structured blue dial crossed by horizontal lines, featuring applied luminescent hour markers, Dauphine hands, a red-tipped trotteuse hand and an openworked P, displays the hours, minutes and seconds at the centre, a chronograph and the date at 6 o’clock. Its sapphire crystal case-back reveals the finishes of the Piaget 1160P Manufacture self-winding movement and its blue oscillating weight, decorated with the Piaget coat-of-arms. This luxury steel watch comes on a blue alligator-skin strap with a folding clasp.

Monards is an authorised retailer of Piaget. Piaget timepieces are available for purchase at our 101 Collins Street and Crown Melbourne boutiques.
The unique allure of Piaget lies in the audacity of its style where craftsmanship meets excellence.
Piaget epitomizes daring creativity – a quality that has continued to permeate through the Maison since its beginnings in 1874. From his first workshop in La Côte-aux-Fées, Georges-Edouard Piaget devoted himself to crafting high-precision movements in a feat that formed the very foundations of our pioneering name. In the late 1950s, Piaget unveiled the ultra-thin movements that would later become the Maison’s trademark and the cornerstone of the Altiplano collection. As a true innovator of the watch and jewellery world, Piaget strongly believed in creativity and artistic values. It is within the walls of our “Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire” where master artisans continue to harness rare skills that have been preserved and perfected from generation to generation, transforming gold, stones and precious gems into dazzling works of art.
Manufacture Piaget 1160P self-winding mechanical movement with chronograph and date
The 1160P movement is a development of the 880P self-winding mechanical chronograph movement. This self-winding chronograph movement has central seconds, a 12 hours counter at 9 o’clock, and a 30 minutes counter at 3 o’clock. The date at 6 o’clock completes the indications of this movement, which has a thickness of only 5.72 mm. The various phases of the 1160P chronograph movement are controlled by a column-wheel; a construction method renowned for its chronometric qualities.
