This calendar Altiplano reveals thin, elegant lines. Embracing the back-to-the-basics philosophy to perfection, its 3.00 mm movement and its 6.36 mm thick case illustrate that technique and sophistication, however great they may be, can be comfortably housed in a small space. The 40 mm white gold-fashioned case, specifically designed to host the 1205P movement, also houses the date and small seconds. The dial arranged on three levels and the subtle interplay between single and double hour-markers reiterate the codes cherished by Piaget’s ultra-thin, self-winding watches. A luxury watch of timeless purity and elegance, a genuine watchmaking classic that stands the test of time and passing fashions.

Monards is an authorised retailer of Piaget. Piaget timepieces are available for purchase at our 101 Collins Street and Crown Melbourne boutiques.
The unique allure of Piaget lies in the audacity of its style where craftsmanship meets excellence.
Piaget epitomizes daring creativity – a quality that has continued to permeate through the Maison since its beginnings in 1874. From his first workshop in La Côte-aux-Fées, Georges-Edouard Piaget devoted himself to crafting high-precision movements in a feat that formed the very foundations of our pioneering name. In the late 1950s, Piaget unveiled the ultra-thin movements that would later become the Maison’s trademark and the cornerstone of the Altiplano collection. As a true innovator of the watch and jewellery world, Piaget strongly believed in creativity and artistic values. It is within the walls of our “Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire” where master artisans continue to harness rare skills that have been preserved and perfected from generation to generation, transforming gold, stones and precious gems into dazzling works of art.
Self winding, ultra-thin watch
The 1205P movement has an off-centre small seconds dial at 5 o’clock and a date display at 9 o’clock, the traditional Piaget Manufacture signature. One of the world’s thinnest automatic movements with date, it measures just 3 mm. All Piaget’s ultra-thin watchmaking expertise is brought into play, the movement’s components are slimmed down and the spaces between them reduced to the minimum.
