The Tourbillon 24 Seconds uses a fast rotational speed and inclined angle to solve the problem of critical positions of the oscillator in relation to gravity. The 25° angle and the rapid revolution of the tourbillon cage significantly improves the chronometric performance of a system containing only one tourbillon, especially in static positions. Consequently, we felt it necessary to develop an inclined gearing profile and an ultralight tourbillon cage to resolve the considerable mechanical constraints imposed by this system.
Greubel Forsey was founded in 2004 by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey. The company first launched the Double Tourbillon 30° Vision, featuring a completely new inclined tourbillon movement. Greubel Forsey timepieces are highly technical, innovative and timeless, featuring a particularly meticulous finish being one of Greubel Forsey’s unique characteristics in redefining contemporary watchmaking.
